This is such a load of crap.
Yes it is big time, but winners exists to test or characters I guess!
Yes, I'm running 4.1 before it's released officially on May 1st. Why ?
Because I think it's fun. I don't consider it punishment. I can use
the CD's, use the software on them, listen to the audio track, put the
stickers on my laptop etc. Where exactly am I punished ? According to
the website, 4.1 is still an 'upcoming release', I think it's nice
that I have it now. How am I a hypocrite ? Please, do tell.
It's like getting free tickets to see the pre release of Spiderman 3 and
at the same time complain that they don't get the popcorns and soda free
with it!
Some will always be crying and never be happy no matter what!
I guess I just wish that there would be an anonymous ftp server for the
release before the current one. Meaning example for now 3.9 would be
anonymous ftp access, when 4.1 is release and then 4.0 become the
anonymous one.
And then all the users that purchase CD gets a key or something to
access the current ftp making the traffic lower on the ftp and may be
helping the sales of cd's.
This way, may be some babies may put their money where their mouth are!
And the one that never buy anything don't get the latest one!
Men...
Anyway, he can always upgrade to 4.1 if he wants to, then when the
release is done, he can use the packages add -u to upgrade the various
packages in use.
It's so darn simple anyway!
I don't get it!
