Yes, you can, but notice that we are not living in this situation right
now. -current is 4.1-current.

However, just prior to the release being tagged, -current will be
4.2-beta. You could almost certainly jump to 4.2-stable from there.

All in all, though, just using the upgrade option in bsd.rd works pretty
well, too. As long as it's not a downgrade, at least.
