You want to stay with OpenBSD/i386 then. You cannot run i386 binaries
on OpenBSD/amd64.

When you have amd64-compatible hardware, in some situations there are
advantages to running OpenBSD/i386, and in others there are advantages
to running OpenBSD/amd64.
