WPA is overly complex and full of optional vendor specific stuff. It is
not a big fun project to do. So unless a (wifi) developer is forced to
used WPA -- because of e.g. some silly employer policy -- it is not a top
priority. The other option would be that some new developer starts working
on this. I know this sucks for all the others wanting it but that's the
brutal reality about the opensource, unpaid, voluntary work we do.
