Pardon me but, isn't acpi and apm already enabled by default on
yesterday's snapshot?

acpi0 at mainbus0: rev 0
acpi0: tables DSDT FACP APIC SSDT
acpitimer at acpi0 not configured
acpiprt0 at acpi0: bus 0 (PCI0)
acpiprt1 at acpi0: bus 1 (AGPB)
acpiprt2 at acpi0: bus 2 (P2P_)
acpiec at acpi0 not configured
...

Also, typing "enable acpi" or "enable apm" returns an "already enabled" message.

You could try enabling the acpi* stuff. Sometimes the interrupt
allocation on newer boxes requires acpi.
