I don't know anything about that 3Com card. If you can't get it working, I do know that the following two (fairly old) PCMCIA modems work well for me with OpenBSD in a couple of laptops that I use: - "Megahertz by USRobotics" model XJ4288 - IBM 56K PC Card Modem (FRU 02K4249) -- "Perfection [in design] is achieved not when there is nothing left to add, but rather when there is nothing left to take away." -- Antoine de Saint-Exupery
