I'm running 4.1-current on T60. I have got powerdown=YES in /etc/rc.shutdown and apmd_flags="" in /etc/rc.conf.local. The laptop doesn't power itself off with "halt -p". So, I have to turn off the laptop by pressing the power button manually every time. I was wondering if this is going to cause any hardware related issues with the laptop in the long-term.
