I've been impressed by HP's sliding rails. Haven't really seen other
rails but damn, Sun doesn't even do sliding rails for the v100s or
whatever it was I bought last year. Their idea of a rack mount kit
was... manual.

I've used HP (both Netserver and Proliant), IBM and Dell OEM rack kits, they work great. The new Dell cable management is even pretty. It's the kits like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330144310642 that tend to suck.

I've also installed several Intel 2U servers with a lousy OEM rack-mount kit.
