Hi,
I have a bcm43xx wireless card and I cannot get it up
and running. As the bcw driver is not in the 4.1
GENERIC kernel, I have recompiled a new one using the
RELEASE branch, adding the options specified in the
manual page. While checking the bcw driver code I've
figured out the way to create the firmeware file that
is needed by the driver. I've managed to get an Ubuntu
package that contains the firmware and I have
generated the firmware file for OpenBSD using the
content of the package.
In the Ubuntu package there were 2 sets of firmware
files. I've tried with both of them, but I had no
luck. The driver fails with
bcw0: successfully read bcw-bcm43xx

bcw0: interrupt-ready timeout!
when running ifconfig bcw0 up.
Is there anybody that managed to get the driver up and
running?
