Hi all, I own a ASUS P5VD2-X wich dropes me into a ddb because of some apic-Problems (I submitted the details using sendbug).
OpenBSD also does not notice the onboard Realtec ALC883 (not even as "not configured", it just disappeared completly..) even it works absolutly ok on another OS (well, tested with MS... hell yeah..). I do need the 2nd CPU core for calculations. If I use bsd I get a functional OS without sound, if I try to use bsd.mp I get just a ddb (enabling/disabling acpi does not matter). Somebody knows a Motherboard where I have onboard Sound, could plug my E2140 onto and wich is pretty good supported? Kind regards, Sebastian
