Hiya.

I would like to use checkout with a test option (similar to -t on many
utilities).
I notice in cvs(1) that the non destructive reporting option is:
-n
I also noticed:
-t (trace).

Armed with that information I tried:
cvs -d [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvs -n -t checkout -P xenocara
To which I get:
 -> main loop with [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvs
 -> Starting server: ssh anoncvs.ca.openbsd.org -l anoncvs cvs server
S-> do_module (xenocara, Updating, , )
S-> Create_Admin (., xenocara, /cvs/xenocara, , , 0, 0)
S-> do_module (xenocara, Updating, , )
cvs server: in directory xenocara:
cvs [server aborted]: there is no version here; run 'cvs checkout' first

Can someone tell me the procedure to "test" cvs checkout?

Best wishes,
David
