Folks,
I am trying to compile GCC 4.2 from ports, and I keep
getting the same error... with OpenBSD 4.2 and current
as well.
checking whether the C compiler
(/usr/ports/lang/gcc/4.2/w-gcc-4.2.20070307/bin/egcc
-O2 -g ) works... no
configure: error: installation or configuration
problem: C compiler cannot create executables.
*** Error code 1
Stop in /usr/ports/lang/gcc/4.2 (line 2057 of
/usr/ports/infrastructure/mk/bsd.port.mk).
Does anyone have any idea of what could make this port
work?
