I have the latency problem no matter what altq does. Whether it is off, priq, cbq, or hfsc, I can get this increase in latency as I increase the number of bit torrent connections. I don't know of a good way to generate lots of long-term connections for any other application to see if this issue is bit torrent specific either. Nor do I know of a way to see if this is a problem with DOCSIS or with OpenBSD. Does anyone have any testing ideas? I'm all out.
