So some script or program in a port is invoking some other program (in
the same port?) with an option after an operand?  Have you considered
filing a bug upstream with the maintainer of the incorrect script or
program to have them put the option before the operands?  There's no
good reason for a script or program to put options after operands.
Indeed, the script or program will fail on Linux system too (if the
user sets POSIXLY_CORRECT).
