Which switch? On my HP switches I can just sftp the public keys in (and fetch the config back out the same way...) > What is the cleanest way to pass password to ssh? Not sure about "cleanest", but expect (in packages/ports) works ok. You can generate a script with "autoexpect" and manually edit it.
