I wouldn't claim to *know*, but the last time I had a similar problem, I did a web search on "OpenBSD path/Filename.pm" and it gave me enough information to figure out which packages I needed to install. In this specific case, searching for "OpenBSD Bio/SearchIO.pm" gave me exactly one reference, but enough to conclude that the port /usr/ports/biology/bioperl or the matching package is a likely solution (after a locate) Hope this helps, -- Peter N.
