Hi folks. I'm trying to get my Nintendo DS to use my OpenBSD 4.3 router to
access the internet, but it's sort of inconsistent. Everything works on
unencrypted wifi, but only some games work when I turn WEP on. After some
research, the most likely culprit appears to be that some NDS games don't
support WEP Open Authentication. The most recent info I could find on this list
was from August 2006:

-----
There's some support for shared key authentication in the kernel, but it
was disabled in sys/net80211/ieee80211_input.c rev 1.14:

Disable shared key mode until we have a way for the user to specify
that they explicitly want it. What we have currently doesn't seem
to work anyway. Add support for specifying a status type when
sending managemnent frames; adapted from FreeBSD. OK jsg@

Am I out of luck, or has anything changed in the last 2 years? Any chance
Shared Key Authentication is available to choose now? I can't find any trace of
it in any of the manpages that seemed appropriate.

Thanks,
David Murphy
