We have been using Ironport for about a year now as our email security appliance. We have roughly 60,000 addresses that we route mail for and take in about 16 million messages a day. We went from a total of 16 systems running just about everything imaginable including email encryption, to 2 Ironport C650 appliances.
We have been very happy with Ironport up to this point, the boxes are very low maintenace and they have given us the ability to perform some more advance mail routing functions that were not supported in our old system. The support and response from Ironport has also been exceptional. They have processed feature requests, and depending on the contract that you have they can provide 24-hour on-site support.
