Thanks all for your help. My current OpenBSD 4.3 installation is sitting on / (/var, /home, /root and everything else is under /) - only one partition. And I have about 34.7g free in there. So my / is not small and has gigs of space free available. Also, my /etc/hosts file is 666K. Thanks for any further help.
