you have to. the kernel only allows one bktr. some cards have e.g. tuner, s-video and RCA inputs, but you can only capture one input at a time. otoh, you might be able to find something that works with uvideo(4), but that's just a guess. -- [email protected] SDF Public Access UNIX System - http://sdf.lonestar.org
