you install the isc-dhcp port (or isc-dhcp3, whatever it is called). the dhclient in base does not have release functionality implemented. also, you can get dhcping from ports and it is pretty easy to make a patch for dhcping that implements a dhcprelease. > What should I di, where should I start, if I want to release the IP-adress? -- jared
