that's precisely what i wanted to do. However, i noted that while i'm able to ping the network ie. ping ftp.openbsd.org, there is a forever wait for response from the server, whenever i try to use any service. Please see below. eg. HTTP $ lynx http://www.google.com/ncr host contacted waiting for reply ... accept cookie (Y) ... host contacted waiting for reply. next the application just seems to be silently working forever .. without any further response. FTP $ ftp ftp.freebsd.org shows up the login prompt (so i type anonymous) shows up the passwd prompt (so i type my email address) next the application just seems to be silently working forever .. without any further response. FTP $export PKG_PATH=ftp://ftp.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/4.4/packages/i386/ pkg_add -i -v irssi next the application just seems to be silently working forever .. without any further response. I'm on a broadband connection and it seems to be working since on the same laptop from the Linux side, i could access the internet and other services without any issues. Not sure what i could be missing here. Any suggestions ? -- thanks Saifi.
