I'd say that, at least for running machines, some precautionary measures should be possible to take to thwart hackers that try to rob your machine from under your fingertips. Eg. a driver that wipes sensitive kernel memory areas after forcefully halting most tasks and doing a basic flushing of disk buffers... Kind regards, --Toni++
