I was trying yesterday with patch-configure that I found here [1] and
this time in the compilation didn't appear error messages, although I
obtained some warnings, like for example the following:

warning: strcpy() is almost always misused, please use strlcpy()
warning: vsprintf() is often misused, please use vsnprintf()
warning: sprintf() is often misused, please use snprintf()
warning: strcat() is almost always misused, please use strlcat()

Could this affect in something the generated binaries?

Thanks for your reply.

Regards,
Daniel
