Typical networking idiots. Some telcos sell an "MPLS IP VPN" service which is comparable in implementation to frame relay, but switched by MPLS switches/routers instead of frame relay switches. There is no encryption. It is not a "VPN" in any sense that you use over the internet or any public network (such as a commercial telco) -- "I'm not aware of any specific concerns," Pentagon spokesman Bryan Whitman said, according to Reuters. Whitman added he was speaking generally and not talking about specific incidents.
