Hi Henning, I suspect that the first error (the pipe write error) could actually be a VMWare issue, I'm investigating that one. But it looks like the issue I'm questioning (the parent process trying to open a bgp session without the md5 password) could actually be OpenBSD related, I can't imagine how the running platform being virtual could affect this (but it may just be me with running short of imagination, you know! ;)
