Dear misc@, Am I correct when I assume that timed, using the Berkeley Unix TSP protocol, is not capable of dealing with subnets? It's a 25 year old protocol so I have to fear the answer is yes.
The reason I ask is that I recently bought a (2nd hand) managed switch and foolishly enough decided to combine VLAN's with subnets. On the 192.168.111.0/24 network timed worked perfectly, but it can't seem to do the same on the 192.168.111.0/25 network I created. I am running 4.5-stable on all my hosts. Regards, Sico. --
