There are several options. Getting something i386 based that is capable of doing builds (or even http://binpatchng.puffy-at-work.org/) can't be more than the price of a few pints these days, but of course the physical space, noise and electricity might be annoying. The other thing I would try would be to set up a virtual i386 box (qemu might work, I've seen OpenBSD run quite well in vmware). - P -- Peter N. M.
