Hello, I'm running Blender since a while, but installing from a new snapshot brought me to this error message and no visible window:
guessing 'blender' == '/usr/local/bin/blender' Compiled with Python version 2.5.4. Checking for installed Python... got it! *********************************WARN_ONCE********************************* File /home/hack/todd/x/xenocara/dist/Mesa/src/mesa/drivers/dri/r300/r300_render.c function r300Fallback line 374 Software fallback:ctx->RenderMode != GL_RENDER *************************************************************************** If I'm posing another app window on top, the blender window will be visible ok. When I click on it for focus, it is black again but receiving mouse commands. My video card is indeed ATI, X1650, some changes in driver code ? Thanks
