You appear to have asked about clients for the iphone, not all phones.
Fugu and cyberduck are very easy to use.

Note pf.conf allows you to apply filters to groups of users. See the
'group' parameter about 17% of the way down through pf.conf(5)
Something like this:
pass in log (to pflog2) group phoners
