Hello,

I don't know if this is the right list to post my question to, but i'm going
to give it a try.

My problem is as follows:

At work I'm working on a project involving a 3G USB stick.
Now, the USB stick (ZTE MF 626) wasn't recognized by the umsm driver, but
after searching
on mailing lists and google, I found that the stick can be recognized by
patching the umsm source file.
So I patched the umsm source file (basicly adding the USB ID of the modem).

All that works perfectly, I can make connection and such, but sometimes, the
USB stick "dies"
No connection anymore, and it's not even showing up in the list when running
usbdevs.

My question is:
Is it possible to reset the USB stick or bus (I think that could fix it) or
is there any other way I can solve this problem
without any manual intervention or rebooting?

Kind regards,

Peter
