Hi list!
I sent a mail yesterday trying to describe a problem I have with a HP
DC5850 which freezes during boot. (Original mail below)

I didn't receive any responses but figured it may be due to the fact
that I was replying to a previous mail "HP Compaq 6005 hanging on
boot" insted of using a unique subject.
Maybe I didn't provide enough information ? Or maybe the right people
just missed it.

I have read through the manual pages for boot, boot_i386, installboot
and biosboot but did not find any clues on how to get more verbose
output from boot at that early stage.
At startup i get this message:

Attempting Boot From USB Device
Using drive 0, partition 3.
Loading...
probing: pc0 pci mem[

and then it hangs.
I get the same result when trying to boot from the 4.7 CD's.
I realize this is not mutch to work with, but I don't know how to
produce more verbose output than this.

Is there anything I can do to get some proper debug info?
Could it just be bad/broken hardware?

It is not critical for me to get this working on this particular
machine, but I figured it would be a good lerning-experience to try.
As I said in my previous mail, any pointers on how to debug this, or
where I can get the porper information would be nice :)
If this is just means that the hardware isn't supported then plase let me know.

Thanks!
