I know, my sisters in her last year of medical school. And whilst if it
was in english or native languages, there may be a greater understanding
for many terms, it does prevent any cross language confusion.

Due to use you could almost deem e.g. to be an english word and so I see
no problem with it, but the latin equivalent, certainly isn't used.
