Thanks for looking at these. I've had some issues with aliases and virtuals (using "plain" format) - comparing with the sendmail documentation and the examples provided in the default /etc/mail maps. AFAIU there are known issues with maps on 4.8 but I'll make some time and document that stuff anyway. The pf syntax is very encouraging to someone who's never done mail before.
