Hi Martin,
I don't run that setup anymore and instead have each user (I have no virtual users) use procmail or maildrop to hook up spamassasin. If I remember correctly it was something along the lines of: ## Return path for spampd listen on lo0 port 10028 tag spampd_return accept tagged spampd_return deliver to ... accept from any relay via smtp://127.0.0.1:10027 There must have been more logic involved because I think the above ruleset would also scan all outgoing mail. Cheers, Olaf
As you had this setup running, maybe you could help me. I could not find an answer to the following question: Do I have to restart spampd after doing a "sa-update" to get current spam-info?
I know that I had to restart spamd (the daemon of spamassassin), but I use spampd instead, and I don't know if it has to be restarted to read the spamdatabase, or if it reads it every time it ist used.
thanks! Martin -- You received this mail because you are subscribed to [email protected] To unsubscribe, send a mail to: [email protected]
