Hi Folks, I was helping troubleshoot an install of the latest OpenSMTPD from EPEL on CentOS 6 and I cannot get the service to start, it always gives this error:
Starting opensmtpd: invalid hostname: getaddrinfo() failed: Name or service not known Normally the answer is to add the hostname to the '/etc/hosts' file for these types of errors. This seems strange to me in this situation because I have never had to do this for OpenSMTPD before and in this instance it doesn't even fix the issue.
