Does anyone have a solution for this on opensmtpd or is aware of
this problem? (My dns and mx's are setup properly.)

Looks to me like they're trying to make your host relay for them, and
if I read your log correctly, you're not letting them actually get
anything delivered.

Other than setting up spamd(8) and perhaps manually adding them to the
spamd-greytrap table, not much to do other than ignore it, or hope
that they'll be stuttered at for entering somebody else's blacklist.

Setting up spamd can be fun in itself, though. (I've blogged a bit
about the subject, see the .signature for a starting link -- or if you
reall do not want to pass go in a while,
http://bsdly.blogspot.ca/2014/02/effective-spam-and-malware.html and
http://bsdly.blogspot.ca/2013/05/keep-smiling-waste-spammers-time.html
plus perhaps
http://bsdly.blogspot.ca/2012/05/in-name-of-sane-email-setting-up-spamd.html
seem to be the more popular entries. There are other field notes, and
of course, if you aspire to running a blacklist,
http://bsdly.blogspot.no/2013/04/maintaining-publicly-available.html).

Now enough with the self-promotion, back to getting a certain
presentation in shape.

Peter,

Nice to see you on the list, and thanks for the blog posts above. I own both editions of your "Book of Pf", and I'll probably own the third. I saw you on BSDNOW.tv last week, and I guess I'm just a great big fat fan-boy. Thanks for all your work in this area, and making your Pf notes available.

Hopefully in the 3rd edition, you'll put Pf, SPAMD and OpenSMTPD together for a bulletproof, spam free design pattern where we can go to one place for a definitive configuration reference. I regret not making it to BSDCan to see you in person!!!!

Cheers,
Big Fat FanBoy,
Rob Sciuk
