Subject: DSN problems

Hi all,

I just did a SMTP-GW migration from Sendmail to opensmtpd, now I have big problem, the DSN report is really ugly.... :) and a lot of users
are
confused if this is a error or what.... I know that I can disable...
but
I have to do that in a hundred desktops....
The best way I think is do the same as Postfix/Sendmail for DSN, or
better... disable the DSN support.

DSN content structure is a work in progress...

Another problem is a travel system that we use, the system send
emails
with some DSN Flag that opensmtpd is not supported.

Could you provide some more details, which specific flag? logs?

stat=501 5.5.4 Error: Bad NOTIFY parameter syntax

Could you please run...

smtpd -dv -Tsmtp

After run this command I understand better..... The main problem is when opensmtpd receive the message with DSN flag and forward to Postfix, them postfix reply to the sender and at this time opensmtpd cannot understand the dsn reply from postfix, so I disable the DSN in Postfix, but is much better have some way to disable DSN in opensmtpd. I'm still have the logs.

and share the logs, so that we can see the full SMTP commands,
especially "RCPT TO:" line.
