Hi all I was wondering if there a simple way of throttling mails accepted by opensmtpd per source ip
We run a small isp and we have 2 opensmtpd servers acting as outbound relay servers and if one of our clients gets infected they spew thousands of mails into our outbound relay servers... while if we could limit mails per hr and have quarantine and alerting for these customers .... it would make cleanup and response quicker and would prevent the server from being blacklisted Is there a way in opensmtpd to throttle mails per hr that would be accepted from a given ip I cant see a simple way in opensmtpd .conf Thanks
