hi,

The master one is OpenBSD's -current smtpd, the only difference is that
we added magic so it can build on stable and older OpenBSD releases.

The portable branch has ALL the cleanups and improvements from master +
a bit of portable-specific changes. I would like you to test two things
in particular:

1- make sure that it builds on your system, that it installs correctly,
and more generally that we didn't break the packaging or portability
layer. you should configure / make & make install as usual and get a
working setup with man pages installed, etc...

2- make sure that it does work at runtime, there shouldn't be any issue
compared to latest stable release as most of the diff consist in lot
of cleanup, mechanical changes and few non-invasive features. Please
make sure that this snapshot works, copes with volume, doesn't crash
and is as reliable as a stable release.

You can report bugs on our tracker at github and report that it works
ok on this list ;-)

PS: -extras snapshots will be published shortly.
