Hi there,
can anyone explain me following in detail?

# pcm=<number>
#
# Give the id of the PCM bus. All PCM busses with the same ID
# are expected to be connected and have equal slots.
# Only one chip of the PCM bus must be master, the others slave.
#

i have 2 cards,  one BN8S0 and one BN4S0

the 8S0 card is detected first. so it's
card=1,0x8
card=2,0x4

Their PCM-Bus ports are connected.

so i put following in my config
card=1,0x8,dtmf,pcm_slave,ignore_pcm_frameclock
card=2,0x4,dtmf

now my question:
which number (and why) i have to choose for
pcm=number?

none, the 2 card lines should be OK, i don't really know what the pcm option means.. i believe it is there to divide the pcm bus into different subbusses.

thx
KAI
