okay, next question to conf file

option=<number>, master_clock

which port should i choose here and what is it exactly good for?

<number> should be the port which is connected to a TE port. It is used to synchronize the hfcmulti driver with the clock from the PSTN => important for faxes !

ahh okay, I see. this results in following question:
When i have 2 cards, lets say each is a 4S0.
one is configured completely in TE mode (card 1) and one in NT mode.(card 2)
both cards are connected via pcm bus
does card 2 get sync from card 1?
so can i put a fax-machine on card 2 and it gets synced from the other card? or have i to configure at least one TE and master_clocked port on each card?

if the cards are wired via PCM it is quite enough to use one TE form card 1 setted in master_clock mode. The second card will receive the sync as pcm_slave.

okay, last question, important for hardware faxes, or software faxes?
both.

THX kai
