Hi Patrick,

you do not need a NT-1 to power it, a BRI Crosscable is OK, pinout is:

3456 which you cross like:

3-4
4-3
5-6
6-5

Christian

Hi all,

New to the list. I just received two TinyUSB TA's that I would like to
use in a back-to-back or NT-TE setup so I can play around with mISDN,
chan_misdn and Asterisk. I have mISDN-1.0.4 and mISDNuser-1.0.3
installed, plugged the TA's into the USB ports and misdn-init scan found
them ok. I changed /etc/misdn-init.conf so it looks like:

card=1,hfcsusb
card=2,hfcsusb
te_ptmp=1
nt_ptmp=2
(rest unchanged)

Then did misdn-init start and that seems to go ok also judging from the
messages in /var/log/messages.

My questions are:
1) do I need a NT-1 in between the TA's to power the link or can I just
   use a direct cross cable between the TA's?
2) if I can use a direct link am I right to assume I need to use an ISDN
   BRI cross cable between both units? If so, does anyone know the
   pinout? I could only find the pinout of an E1 cross (1-4, 2-5)

Thanks and regards,
Patrick
