Hi list,

A couple of months back I posted to this list regarding
the difficulties we had regarding upgrading mISDN from
 1.0.x to 1.1.2.

We never solved the real problem... It just turned out that
meanwhile we did a kernel upgrade (ubuntu server 6.06 LTS
supplied) and then, we built 1.1.2 on top of the fresh kernel
 and have been running fine.

Today I tried to upgrade to 1.1.5 without success. In short
we can't dial out and we can't receive calls -- totally isolated ! :-(

System: Ubuntu Server 6.06 LTS running ubuntu supplied
 kernel 2.6.15-28-server.

 [previous installation]

mISDN and mISDNuser 1.1.2 were installed by performing:

remove ubuntu supplied misdn from kernel modules under
    /lib/modules/`uname-r`/kernel/drivers/isdn/misdn (or so...)
as there can be versioning conflicts among the modules...

mISDN: make force && make && make install
 mISDNuser: make && make install

misdn-init scan / config / start / stop works perfectly on
top of asterisk 1.2.19 running the latest chan_misdn.

 [upgrade procedure]

 stop asterisk
 misdn-init stop
check that no misdn modules are loaded
 remove misdn modules from /lib/modules/`uname-r`/extra
 restart system

misdn: make force && make && make install
 misdnuser: make && make install
misdn-init scan / config / start / stop seems ok

 start asterisk ok
misdn show stacks on asterisk ok

dial in fails and dial out fails

reboot system behaviour is the same
unplug + replug every ISDN cable behaviour is the same

 [results from misdn.log with debug=3]

For the sake of completeness I attach dmesg, lsmod, asterisk log and misdn.log

Can someone help point out our failure ?
I have the feeling that if we installed on a "fresh" kernel we would have no
problems at all... so the problem must be in the upgrade procedure and some
 dependency we not handling correctly.

 Thanks in advance,

(meanwhile we'll repeat our procedure targetting 1.1.2 to be
operational again!)
