You got me a litle wrong:
The DIGIUM B410P has Hardware Echocancel support onboard.
The Beronet Cards like BN8S0, BN4S0 and BN2S0 have no hardware
echocancel, with them you can use SoftEcho for better Echocancel
results, but indeed the SoftEcho is optimized for intel/amd

(EC=Echo Cancellation/Canceller)
I've just tested octasis EC with a 4 BRI and 2 BRI.
I've learned from a problem i had that those card have onboard
hardware for EC and they use the hardware EC by the default.
Octasis seems to be a good stuff but onto a VIA 700Mhz cpu 1 channells
eats 10-15% (i dunno if it scale linear or not since i've registered
only 1 license onto the test machine).
However it uses too much cpu, require a patched driver (so every
change into the mISDN driver require a backport i suspect).
So i'm just evalutating to use the hardware EC and to use it better.
I've found inside /mISDN-1_1_4/drivers/isdn/hardware/mISDN/dsp.h that
there are some options that can be tuned.
For example defining the AGGRESSIVE_SUPPRESSOR will help ?
And wich of those 3 EC is the best?
//#include "dsp_mec2.h"
//#include "dsp_kb1ec.h"
#include "dsp_mg2ec.h"
ATM i'm very happy about the beronet 4 BRI cards, i've no problem with
them. I've some harsh echo with the stupid 1 BRI HFCI cheap cards:
they have regular echo when calling PSTN number. Well: you just hear
your voice returning back with i think 100-200ms (would be nice if
there is a tool to record it and analize the exact timing).
How to solve this? Raising echocancel=X ?
