The group which is petitioning for a state audit of Springfield Public Schools
is going to meet in the morning at Scrambler's on Chestnut (across from the
Main Post Office) at 9:30 thru 10:00am.
We are asking that anyone who has been gathering signatures bring their
completed petitions to the meeting to turn in. We will have someone there to
notarize the petitions if you have not had that done to the petitions that you
have filled. We will have additional supplies available to support your efforts.
If you are able, several people are going to put in a couple of hours gathering
signatures for about three hours on Saturday and then meet for a late lunch at
Pizza Inn on North Kansas (just north of Kearney) at about 1:30pm to compare
notes and discuss the progress.
Even if you cannot gather signatures on Saturday, we would appreciate you
stopping by Scrambler's to turn in any signatures previously gathered so that
we can tally the number gathered to date.
