When I release Machinate Scheme ("The Machiavellian Scheme", Mash, for short), my (now trying for R7RS small) Scheme for mechanical design, I'll let you know.
One suggestion I would have for a SRFI or even the R*RS is standardizing on an object system like SOS, if not already done or in progress.
BTW, have you had your original question answered yet (offlist, not by me, etc.)?
