Hi,
I try to get map projection and datum of some tab files in a human
readable form. When I call mitab_c_get_mif_coordsys() I get results as
'Earth Projection 8, 1000, "m", 12, 0, 1, 4500000, 0' which is
Gauss-Krueger projection = 8, DHDN = 1000. In file mapinfow.prj I there
are all the real names (however, here "m" is coded as 7, why, where's a
codelist?).
Is there an easier way to get the projection names in stead of parsing
the mapinfow.prj file?
