In the application that I use Mitab we are always hitting MapInfo's
limit of 32768 segments in a region.
I read that in version 8 this limit has been raised to 20 million.
When I looked through mitab it seemed that the reason for the limit
was the segment index was a signed short in the file (TAB/DAT etc not
MID/MID). I can only assume there is a new format of TAB/DAT etc files.
Is this supported in the latest version of Mitab?
