Hi,
Apologies if this pops up twice - I sent the original vial email to this group
at 09:49 GMT+2 and now some 7 hours later I'm trying the Yahoo webpage access,
as I have not yet seen my original post.

I have filed this query as ticket #4337 with GDAL/OGR, but they have referred
me to this forum.

I am trying to deliver data, via TAB format to Geomedia MDB (then into Oracle).
>From my GIS package side I export to MID-MIF then use ogr2ogr to create a TAB
>file, because Geomedia cannot import MIDMIF.

Many of the fields in my MIDMIF file (validly) have no values - that is,
consecutive delimiters with nothing between them.
When this data arrives in GeoMedia the numeric fields are zero-filled and the
text fields have double-quotes.

By way of testing, I have used both ogr and tab2tab to convert from mif to tab
and back to mif.

I have downloaded and am browsing the tab2tab src code, but if anyone can help
with a quick pointer as to where the TAB file is loaded, I'd be grateful.

(Once I am sure that the TAB file contains NULLs and not empty quotes or
zeroes, my next trick would be to see how Geomedia treats these fields on
import......)

Thanks & regards,
Zoltan
